Whether you are holding the microphone or facing it, learn how to make an impact on camera.
Media opportunities, and the need to be able to perform in an interview environment, is becoming a ever-bigger part of many industries.
Join Kathryn Wolfe, former BBC-trained TV Director with over 20 years experience in directing top shows at BBC and ITV, for an intensive, hands-on workshop designed to transform the way you communicate on screen. Over the 2 hours, we'll explore:
This workshop analyses what it takes to be a good interviewer/interviewee. We will discuss the skills and qualities needed for these roles, view good and bad examples of interviewing, and learn how to prepare a short interview in pairs/small groups.
Some participants will have the opportunity to practice an interview which will be recorded and played back with helpful critique.
Knowing how to come across as an interesting interviewee, and understanding how to get the most out of an interview situation are invaluable tools that can be applied to a variety of situations, from formal interview to informal, in business communication and panels.
These skills are universal. Whether for formal media broadcasts, corporate video communications, or high-stakes panels, knowing how to come across as engaging, authoritative, and authentic is an invaluable professional tool.
As this is a hands-on, practical session with direct feedback, numbers are limited to 20 attendees, on a first-come, first-serve basis.
