About the workshop
Do you find your workforce is in need of motivation? Do you yourself wish you had the techniques to make yours or your colleagues working life more enjoyable and productive?
This Alive@work workshop is about how to create a motivated and enjoyable environment for your workforce or yourself to thrive in, giving you the tools and practical steps towards being the champion of the change you wish to see in your workplace.
We invite anyone who feels empowered to make their tomorrows better than today.
Join us on the 20th September for 'Alive@work' - A new interactive online workshop designed to showcase the first steps you can take towards a more motivated and productive working environment, as taken from our 'Alive@work' programme. You will take part in practical exercises and group work to help promote your ability to be motivated and productive.
During this 2.5 hour session, you will experience the first steps to creating a motivated and enjoyable environment for your workforce or yourself to thrive in. These areas include:
Learned Optimism - The future will be OK
Context sensitivity - What do I need to do?
Confidence in coping - I have the skills
Repertoire - What am I able to do?
Challenge Appraisal - I will do what is necessary
Feedback monitoring - Am I making progress?
If you want to make yours a culture of energy, pride, collaboration, and success, Join Corina Breban and David Barnard on Alive@Work. You will have the opportunity to discuss the research on which it is based, to hear about the way the programme quickly enhances work, and to experience some of the content yourself.

David Barnard is director of Pracsys Advisory Limited, a leadership development consultancy. He is a Sloan Fellow of London Business School, an executive coach, and a practising musician who brings the creativity of art and beauty into his work with clients. David’s research into the balance between task accomplishment and personal relationships underpins his leadership work.
Corina Breban is a senior director at Foot Locker responsible for leadership and culture, diversity and inclusion, and engagement and change. Corina is an executive coach with an MA in health and educational psychology. She understands at a practical level how to bring people together to achieve great results.
